Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and Toon Verbeek, based in the Netherlands (the "developer", "we"), for the SuperStrong iPhone app. By signing in you accept them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms win.
1. The app
SuperStrong logs bodyweight exercise sets as tiles on a wall. You may share one wall with up to four friends and put reaction stickers on their sets. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's usage rules.
2. Your account
You sign in with Sign in with Apple and need to be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for an Apple ID where you live. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from the Account screen; see the privacy policy for what that removes.
3. Walls with friends
A wall is private to its members. Only share an invite code with people you want on your wall. The owner of a wall can rename it, rotate the code, remove any member and delete the wall. Be kind: stickers exist to cheer a friend on. Do not use a wall name, a display name or the app itself to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone. We may remove content or suspend an account that does.
4. SuperStrong Pro
SuperStrong Pro unlocks extra reaction sticker sets. It is sold through Apple's App Store as a one-time lifetime purchase or as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly). Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings (Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restore purchases in the app brings a purchase back on a new device or after a reinstall.
What Pro includes may grow over time. We will not remove a feature you paid a lifetime price for.
5. Exercise at your own risk
SuperStrong is a log, not a coach and not medical advice. The daily goal is a suggestion drawn from your own past sets. Check with a doctor before starting an exercise programme, stop if something hurts, and use a pull-up bar and any other equipment as its maker intends. You use the app and exercise at your own risk.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app and its server running but do not promise they will be available at every moment. We may change, add or remove features, and we may update the app; an old version may stop working with the server. We may end the service with reasonable notice; if that happens while you have a paid subscription, Apple's refund rules apply.
7. Your content
Your tiles, your wall name and your display name are yours. You give us the licence needed to store them, show them to the members of your wall and operate the app. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost data or injury arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing removes the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
9. Termination
You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. Sections 5, 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.
10. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in also apply. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, or to the court of your home country if you are a consumer in the European Union. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the effective date at the top changes with it. A material change is announced in the app before it applies.
